Oliver
Twist is the story about a loneliness, struggles of life, and love. Oliver
Twist is a young boy who was left by his parents since he was born. He didn’t
even have a choice to decide his own life. By the time he was risen, life
didn’t treat him fairly. He lived with horrible people who always wanted the
advantages for them self. The story is enjoyed to read and it makes the reader feels curious about the next stories. At first I didn't expect who is Monks actually. Dickens told us that even though we are in really bad
situation and condition, we cannot loose in hope. There are plenty of people
who would care for us. No matter how many hatters we have, there are still
people who have love for us. God never makes any mistakes in our life since the
beginning. He has a plan for each one of us, a perfect plan. A plan which won’t
harm you, a plan to make you prosper and thrive. Dickens showed that the wicked
shall be punished.

Chapter 9: A Plain Gold Ring
Mr. Bumble and Mrs. Coney had been married for two
months and they just had a fight. Mr. Bumble was tired of it and he decided to
go out to a public house. A stranger who was Monk in pub recognized Mr. Bumble
and asked him about a woman who took care of Oliver’s mother. Mr. Bumble
answered that Old Sally was already died. Monk asked him to bring his wife to
tell him everything and Monks would pay him more. Mr. Bumble told Monks that
Old Sally stole something from Oliver’s mom pocket. Monks showed Mr. Bumble
that he held a gold locket which has the name of “Agnes” was engraved on the
inside and a date that was a year Oliver was born. Monks left and he said to
Mr. Bumble that there would nothing happen after their meeting and they didn’t
know each other. Days later, Monks went to see Fagin. While Monks and Fagin
were talking, Nancy sneaked and listened at the door. Bill Sikes saw her and
asked her to get him a drink. Nancy put something on the glass to make him in a
really deep and heavy sleep. She ran away and she went to Miss Maylie. She said
to Miss Maylie that she was the one who picked up Oliver moments ago. She told
everything that Monks and Fagin were talking about. Monks said that he would
watch Oliver for the rest of his life and he proclaimed that Oliver is his
brother. Rose Maylie asked Nancy to stay with her but Nancy said that it was
too late to run away and she decided to leave. One time, Mr. Brownlow came to
the house to see Oliver.
Chapter 10: Fagin’s Plan
Noah Claypole and Charlotte were following Nancy when
she was visiting Rose Maylie. Noah asked Charlotte to keep the money they stole
from Mr. Sowerberry so if they were caught they can blame Charlotte for it.
Fagin was stalking into the room where Noah said that he would be a thief in
London. After hearing that, Fagin recruited Noah to join into his crime group.
The first job of Noah for Fagin was he had to follow Nancy where she always
went on Sunday night before 11.00 PM. Bill Sikes asked Nancy where she would
go. He was worried that Nancy found someone better than him. He forced and beat
her to make her stay at the house. Then Noah Claypole did what he had been
told.
Chapter 11: Nancy’s Fate
Noah was following Nancy and he found out that she met
Rose Maylie and Mr. Brownlow. They said to Nancy that they had a plan to
capture Fagin ad Monks and they can bring Nancy to get out of all this. They
can bring Nancy to another place even another country. Noah told Bill and Fagin
what was going on. They were mad, Bill woke up Nancy at the middle of the
night. Bill pulled her and beat her so badly. Bill would use a gun to shoot her
but he thought that it could draw people’s attention so he struck her with the
heavy weapon itself. He killed Nancy afterwards. He was haunted by Nancy’s
shadow wherever he walked. One moment, Mr. Brownlow kidnapped Monks and brought
him inside his house. He told everything about his true life and his family. He
told him that his actual name is Edward Leeford and his father is a friend of
Mr. Brownlow. Mr. Brownlow said that Monks’ Father fell in love with a naval
officer’s daughter. Monk’s father left England and went to Rome because he had
to visit his uncle who died. Mr. Brownlow tried to find out the girl, but
suddenly she disappeared. Monks was shocked realizing that Oliver is his step
brother. Mr. Brownlow learnt that Monks had destroyed everything about the
proof of Oliver’s birth. Mr. Brownlow said that he had a picture of a woman who
really looked like Oliver. Seemed Mr. Brownlow wanted to catch Fagin and Bill
soon.
Chapter 12: The End of the Story
Tom and Toby were hiding while Tom was talking about Fagin’s arrestment.
It was so horrible that Fagin was in bleeding while police brought him and the
crowd was yelling at him. Sometimes later, Charley Bates was mad at Bill Sikes
because he had killed Nancy and they were rolling on the ground, fighting.
Crowd came and Bill Sikes tried to escape with climbing to the roof. One person
of the crowd came up and brought a ladder with him so they could catch Bill
Sikes. Bill Sikes tried to drop on his body on another side of the roof and
escape safely. He used a rope to drop of safely, accidentally a rope that
supposed to help him was stuck on his neck and strangled him while he was
jumping. Two
days after Bill Sikes’s death, in a fine hotel
there were together Oliver, Rose, Mrs. Maylie, Mrs.Bedwin,

marry Agnes right away. The second letter of him is for Monks and Monks’
Mother. It was written with money on it. Edwin gave money for his family both
of Monks’ mother and Agnes and her baby.
Monks confessed that he had paid
Fagin to lead Oliver into a life of crime. He
also admitted that his mother had burned the will and
the letter. Finally, he said that he himself
had destroyed the ring and the locket that the
Bumbles gave him.Because Mr. Bumble and Mrs. Bumble had done something
wrong; Mr. Brownlow made them loose their job as a punishment. Oliver just
realized that Rose was the younger sibling of his mom. Rose was her true aunt
for him but he wouldn’t call her aunt because she’s like a sister for him.
Harry told Rose that he would marry her soon. On another place, Fagin was
sentenced to death for his crime. Harry and Rose were married and Harry was a
pastor in a village church. They had a happy family afterwards. Oliver gave
